Ever since I was a child I knew I saw the world differently than others. I was born visually impaired, but I did not let that limitation stop me from wanting to create art. This hardship has given me a gift of a unique perspective of being able to see the world differently. I am able to translate and interpret with my creative art. Striving to be an artist is my passion and something I will continue to refine.
I have always been fascinated by stories be it from watching tv or movies. Most of all, it came by reading comic books with all their pretty drawings and stories that led me into becoming an artist. My drive and passion is to use my talents as a practicing artist and to hone my skills at being a visual storyteller by bringing my love of stories and creative art together. The journey of becoming a visual storyteller is a never ending exploration of art and life and something I will always be working towards.
My passion for art led me to attend Douglas Anderson School of the Arts and then to attend Savannah College of Art and Design where I received a B.F.A. degree in Sequential Art and Painting. I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida but also lived 11 years in Shanghai China as an artist-in-residence to an international school where I shared my passion of creating art with students from different countries and nationalities. My artwork has been shown in a variety of countries from Ireland to the Bahamas.
